Dr. Daniel grew up in the Metro Detroit area and, quite literally, in a dental office. What started as a child’s view of the profession — “you’re just a tooth doctor” — changed with age, replaced by a growing appreciation for the relationships both parents had built with their patients over decades. A stint working chairside as a dental assistant at Premier Dental Center, before dental school, settled the question for good.
Undergraduate studies were completed at Wayne State University in Detroit and Oakland University, followed by a dental degree from Midwestern University in Chicago.
What matters most in this profession is the people. Patients in many dental and medical practices have come to feel like a number — a trend Dr. Daniel and the team here work deliberately against. Sitting in this chair, you are a person first, treated by a doctor who knows you.
Outside the office, there is rarely idle time: woodworking, wrenching on a truck, and a current project building and staining cabinets for the house. Hunting, camping, and dirt biking round out a firm preference for being outdoors — though when not outside, there is no better place to be than Premier Dental Center.
