If you’re reading this article, then you’re probably looking at cosmetic and restorative dentistry options to replace your teeth and “build” the smile you’ve always wanted.
You probably came across a lot of information regarding dental implants, crowns, etc., but were perhaps disappointed at how long that process can take. After all, you want the result, but you don’t want to wait months on end to get it.
Well, we have some good news for you.
You don’t have to wait!
In recent years, there have been many advancements regarding the replacement of missing or damaged teeth, and as a result, the “teeth in a day” treatment was born.
Keep reading because we’re going to show you how you can get the results you’re looking for (a beautiful, high-quality, natural-looking set of new teeth) without having to wait months on end while going through the traditional dental implant process.
What are Teeth in a Day?
It’s just what it sounds like.
You can walk into our office (Premier Dental Center in Troy, MI), have your dental implants placed, and then we fabricate a high-quality, temporary set of teeth so that when you walk out of our office, your teeth and smile will already look considerably better than when you walked in.
Here’s how the process typically works (note: each patient is different, which is why it’s important to have an initial consultation to discuss your options. The outline below is a general overview of the process):
You’ll meet with Dr. Nazarian to discuss your treatment options and confirm that you are a good candidate for the teeth in a day procedure. At this point, you’ll schedule your teeth in a day appointment.
When you arrive, you’ll have the damaged teeth (that you wish to have replaced) removed.
After your mouth is prepped for dental implants, Dr. Nazarian will place your implants.
Using CEREC technology, 3d imaging, and computer-guided technology, a temporary, yet very high-quality set of temporary teeth will be made.
You’ll follow up with Dr. Nazarian in a few months (once your dental implants have time to completely heal). At that time, your permanent dental crown will be placed to cap off your restoration.
It is important to note that Dr. Nazarian is certified in using sedation in order to make patients feel comfortable and at ease during their procedure. Many dental practices cannot perform IV sedation, but Dr. Nazarian can.
This is a big advantage for our patients, and one that will ensure your teeth in a day process goes as smooth as possible
Am I a Good Candidate for “Teeth in a Day?”
If you are looking to replace the majority of your teeth with dental implants and crowns, then you are likely a candidate for the teeth in a day procedure.
In many cases additional work will need to be done in order to prep your teeth in a day procedure. All of this will be looked at during your initial consultation, which will give you a much clearer understanding on whether or not the teeth in a day procedure is right for you.
