Clinical Case Presentation

A patient presented with failing amalgam restorations with cracks, open margins and recurrent decay. He complained of hot and cold sensitivity as well as discomfort on biting. After a thorough clinical examination and necessary x-rays, a treatment plan was presented using the DemoDent patient education system. Treatment consisted of core and crown restorations. As seen in the photos, the whole quadrant was restored to proper form and function.
